"Welcome to the
web world of Callahan Road Baptist Church. I want to thank you
for visiting our website and encourage you to browse around
awhile. My name is Marc Sasser, pastor, and I want to extend to
you a personal invitation to visit us at 1317 Callahan Dr.
Knoxville, Tn. I can truly say that God has blessed me with a
church family that is made up of the most caring people in the
world. Whether you're a seasoned follower of Christ or just
exploring Christianity for the first time, you will be welcomed
at Callahan.
Callahan is a loving church family committed to knowing the
heart of God. We sincerely want to be found a faithful people.
Our church family is made of diverse backgrounds, but we feel
this is the special ingredient in the glue that God uses to
bound us together. Every person is important at Callahan and the
reality of this is evident as we work together for God's
Kingdom. Should you have the opportunity to visit us personally
in a worship service, you likely will hear me say, "Callahan
will take you as you are but Jesus won’t leave you like you
are". This is not a slogan or a catchy phrase, but our
recognizing that the Holy Spirit is willing and wants to make a
difference in one's life. Again thanks for checking us out and
may the Lord Jesus bless you. I hope to see you soon."
